Virginia Giuffre, who accused Jeffrey Epstein of s*x trafficking her to Prince Andrew when she was 17, made a chilling admission on social media before her death.
Warning: This article contains discussion of suicide which some readers may find distressing.
Giuffre’s family has sadly confirmed her death, with Western Australian police reporting that she was found unresponsive at her home on the night of April 25 in Neergabby, about an hour north of Perth.
“Police and St John Western Australia responded and provided emergency first aid. Tragically, the 41-year-old woman was declared deceased at the scene,” a police spokesperson stated.
“The death is under investigation by Major Crime detectives. Initial findings suggest the death is not suspicious.”
Just weeks before her passing, Giuffre posted on social media that she had “four days to live” following a car accident. She shared that she was “ready to go,” but not before seeing her three children “one last time.”

Giuffre had been engaged in a contentious legal battle with her estranged husband, Robert, whom she praised on her Instagram in December 2023 as an “amazing man” who had “rescued me from Epstein & Maxwell’s clutches.”
She faced charges for breaching a family violence restraining order in Ocean Reef, near Perth. Her case was first heard in Joondalup Magistrates’ Court on March 14, where she did not enter a plea.
The case was adjourned until June 11 for a plea hearing, according to Western Australia Courts. At the time, her representative stated that Giuffre was “looking forward to defending herself against [Robert’s] malicious claim.”
On March 22, she posted on Instagram, expressing, “My beautiful babies have no clue how much I love them, and they’re being poisoned with lies. I miss them so very much. I have been through hell & back in my 41 years, but this is hurting me worse than anything else.”

“Hurt me, abuse me, but don’t take my babies. My heart is shattered, and with each passing day, my sadness grows deeper.”
Then, on March 30, she shared a photo from the hospital, claiming she had been involved in a serious car accident with a bus.
“This year has been the worst start to a new year, but I won’t bore anyone with the details. However, I think it’s important to mention that when a school bus driver comes at you, driving 110km/h (68mph) as we were slowing for a turn, no matter what your car is made of, it might as well be a tin can,” she wrote.

“I’ve gone into kidney renal failure, and they’ve given me four days to live. They’re transferring me to a specialist hospital in urology. I’m ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time, but you know how they say about wishes.
‘St in one hand and wish in the other, and I guarantee it’s still going to be st at the end of the day. Thank you all for being such wonderful people and for being a great part of my life. God bless you all. xx Virginia’
At the time, police described the crash as ‘minor,’ with no injuries reported. However, Giuffre’s family later claimed that police said there was ‘no one available to come to the scene.’
The family statement continued: “They asked if anyone was injured and suggested that those who were should make their way to the hospital. The school bus driver, who had a bus full of distraught children, left the scene to get them back, saying he would file a report, which he did later.
“Virginia was banged up and bruised and returned home. Her condition worsened, and she was admitted to the hospital.
“Regarding her Instagram post, Virginia thought she had shared it on her private Facebook page. Virginia and her family thank everyone for their concern.”
Giuffre is survived by her three children.
