Meghan Markle has confirmed her ‘professional separation’ from Prince Harry in a new interview.
In recent months, rumors have circulated about a potential rift between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Questions surrounding the status of their personal and professional relationship were heightened after the couple made several public appearances alone.
Now, Markle has confirmed that the couple is ‘professionally separating.’

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down as senior royals in 2020, moving to California for a fresh start and to pursue new ventures.
While the couple has often appeared united, they continue to be the subject of speculative headlines.
Prince Harry appeared solo at the DealBook Summit in New York last December, where a journalist asked him about the rumors surrounding their recent solo public appearances.
The 40-year-old shut down the speculation, saying, “Apparently, we’ve bought or moved houses maybe 10 or 12 times, and we’ve apparently divorced maybe 10 or 12 times as well. So, it’s just like, ‘what?’ It’s hard to keep up.”

Tabloids have been covering Prince Harry and his family since he was a child, a topic he also addressed in his response.
He suggested that much of what the public reads in the media is often unfounded, stressing how harmful this type of reporting can be.
Despite shutting down divorce rumors, it’s clear that both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are currently focusing on their individual career paths.
In a recent interview with People, Markle opened up about the differences in their relationship as she reenters the entrepreneurial world.

Markle has launched her new lifestyle brand, As Ever, which seems to be a reimagining of The Tig, the brand she ran when she first met Prince Harry.
As her relationship with the prince deepened, Markle shut down her original brand and social media to align with royal family expectations.
Markle shared that returning to the lifestyle space has had a positive impact on her relationship with Prince Harry: “My husband met me when I had The Tig, and I see this spark in his eye when he sees me doing the thing I was doing when he first met me.”
She continued, “It’s almost like a honeymoon period again. It’s exactly how it was in the beginning when he’d watch me scribbling away, writing newsletters, fine-tuning edits, and really diving into the details.
I think he loves watching as much as I love doing that creative process. It’s just been fun. This is who I’ve always been.”

Markle also spoke about their work as a couple within The Archwell Foundation, continuing: “I imagine that it’s the same as it would be for any couple. You have your individual jobs, but then you have things that you share together.
“We’ve been such a close team for so long that we’re just in it beat by beat with each other.
“And I love that. To be able to be a female founder and do that with my husband’s support means everything.”
Although the couple will still be involved in their foundation work together, they are enjoying the shift to their solo projects again.
Markle has released her gardening and cooking show with Netflix, titled With Love, Meghan.
