Camila Cabello has revealed the celebrity she lost her virginity to at 20 years old.
The ‘Havana’ singer, 27, rose to fame as a member of the girl band Fifth Harmony, who were formed through The X Factor.
The group was known for songs such as ‘Worth It’ and ‘That’s My Girl.’
Cabello left Fifth Harmony in 2016, revealing on the Call Me Daddy podcast that she began ‘distancing’ herself from the group and its vision.
Now a successful solo artist with billions of streams across music platforms, she has firmly established her place in the industry.
In a recent interview, Cabello shared insights into her love life and reflected on what she considers her “perfect first relationship.”
In recent years, Cabello’s love life has garnered plenty of attention.
Along with thriving in her solo career, the singer was in a relationship with fellow pop star Shawn Mendes from 2019 to 2021.
During their time together, their PDA-filled photos frequently went viral on social media.
Unfortunately, after two years of dating, Cabello and Mendes decided to part ways, pledging to stay “best friends.”
In a joint statement, they said: “We’ve decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever.”
Now, Cabello has revealed that she lost her virginity to another celebrity who she was a ‘big fan’ of.
On Dax Shepherd’s Armchair Expert Podcast, the ‘Señorita’ singer candidly discussed being ‘late for the first time’ at 20 years old.
She recalled: “That was my first time having s**. First lovemaking was at 20, 21… It was literally lovemaking. It was beautiful.”
Cabello met Matthew Hussey, podcast host and author behind ‘Get the Guy,’ in 2018 on the set of The Today Show.
The pop star shared, “I had actually listened to his podcast before. I was a fan and used to tune in because he had a dating podcast.”
Cabello recalled telling Hussey, “I’m such a big fan,” before they went to dinner that evening.
She continued, “He was a really great person. It felt like the perfect first relationship. He broadened my world, especially since he wasn’t in my industry.”
People magazine reports that the pair split in 2019. Since parting ways, both have moved on – with Cabello famously dating Mendes.
Hussey tied the knot to Audrey Le Strat in October 2023.
Cabello revealed during her appearance on the Call Me Daddy podcast that she’s currently single, adding: “I’ve been in relationships a lot since I started dating. It feels fun to just get to know people and talk and see what happens.”
